Terms to Know

  • MC magic circle, or CH2, 6SC in CH1
  • SC single crochet
  • INC increase
  • DEC invisible decrease
  • FLO front loop only
  • DC double crochet
  • HDC half double crochet
  • PUFF single HDC stitch [CH4, PUFF in 3rd CH from hook, SL ST in CH1]
  • BLO back loop only
  • SL ST slip stitch
  • SL KN slip knot
  • CH chain
  • FO fasten/ finish off

Pattern [all pieces to be crocheted before assembly] 

Feet to Head

  • Start with the main color, Foot 1- MC, 6SC
  • INC 6X [12]
  • SC, INC 6X [18]
  • 2SC, INC, 6X [24]
  • 24SC for 2 rounds
  • DEC 6X, 12SC [18]
  • DEC 3X, 12SC [15]
  • FO, stuff the foot, and tuck the tail inside the foot. Repeat for Foot 2, but do not FO.
  • Foot 2- 7SC, line up the feet side by side, SC in the 3rd SC from Foot 1’s FO point, 14SC, 8SC on Foot 2. [30]
  • 4SC, INC 6X [center belly], 20SC [36]
  • 36SC for 3 rounds
  • 4SC, DEC 6X [30]
  • 30SC
  • 3SC, DEC 6X [24]
  • 24SC
  • Stuff the hips, then the belly.
  • 2SC, DEC 6X [18]
  • 18SC for 3 rounds
  • Stuff the chest.
  • SC, DEC 6X [12]
  • 12SC [use this round to end at the center of the back of the neck] 
  • Finish stuffing the torso.
  • BLO 12 SL ST
  • In the same round, using the FLO- INC 12X [24]
  • 3SC, INC 6X [30]
  • 30SC for 6 rounds
  • 3SC, DEC 6X [24]
  • 2SC, DEC 6X [18]
  • Stuff the head firmly.
  • SC, DEC 6X [12]
  • FO, cinch to close, tie off and tuck the ends into the head. 

Arms [2]

  • Use the main color- MC 6SC
  • INC 6X [12]
  • 3SC, INC 3X [15]
  • 15SC for 3 rounds
  • 3SC, DEC 3X [12]
  • 12SC for 3 rounds 
  • Stuff half of the arm.
  • Pinch the opening together and SC it together. [5]
  • FO, leave a long tail to be sewn on later. 

Ears [2]

  • Use the main color- CH12, DC in 3rd CH from hook, 8DC, 3DC in CH1, 9DC in the opposite side of the foundation chain. [21 DC]
  • Fold the ear in half, SC together [3]
  • FO, leave a long tail.

Tail 

  • Use the main color, leave a long tail- CH4, PUFF in 3rd chain from the hook, SL ST into CH1
  • FO, leave the same length of tail as the beginning.


Assembly

  • Sew on the arms.
  • Embroider the eyes with 4 lines, and a simple (T) for the snout.
  • Sew on the ears. 
  • Sew on the tail.
